Fascinating photos show Vienna’s streets before & after the Coronavirus lockdown started

So, tomorrow, on May the first, Vienna’s mandatory home isolation shutdown will end. OK, we may find ourselves having to quarantine at home, let’s see how things go, but for now, we’ll be free. We’ll all be able to return to the streets, like birds out of cages – no doubt the feeling of freedom will feel ooooh so good!

But before we try to leave this home isolation period behind us like it was all just a bad dream, we wanted to document in the photos below the stark contrast of Vienna’s streets from bustling and busy spaces to desolate, crowd-less places. Just so we remember what Vienna looks like when a pandemic hits.
