The Schottenfest is happening this week! Yippee! what the hell is the Schottenfest? Well, it’s a grassroots festival celebrating culture and music that the Scots, Irish and English have given birth to (and are still giving birth to). In it’s third year, while this festival has shrunk a little this year, there are some great acts on their stages worth checking out. This festival showcases the traditions and historic Gaelic links between Vienna, Ireland & Scotland in various locations around Vienna. Live music, readings, and talks will be happening over the 3 day festival. Check out their event guide for details on the price and program.
