American Swing Dance band the Glenn Miller Orchestra were first formed in 1938. Now, the licensed Glenn Miller Orchestra for Europe led by Wil Salden is headed out on a big anniversary tour celebrating 35 years and a total of 5,000 concerts. If that’s not enough to put them in a party mood, it’s also Wil Salden’s 70th birthday in June, so perhaps they’ll be playing even bigger sounds than usual as they continue to inspire people of all ages around the world.
