Before you get ahead of yourself, the artist’s work isn’t a homage to the ‘Dogs playing poker’ painting we all know and find comical. Her paintings are more of a social critique of today’s massive online consumption. But why animals you ask? Because we’re using smart devices so much they have become our best friends and Deborah is clearly not cool with that.
