As we all know, libraries and bookshops are basically just orgies waiting to happen. While we make no guarantee that’s the case here, one of Vienna’s finest bookshops has decided to at least try to spark some romance at this literary speed dating event. Ten men and ten women will gather, each with their favourite book, and get seven minutes to meet each of the others. Who knows, perhaps you’ll meet someone you want to spend the next chapter (“Ba-dum Tsh!”) of your life with. Note you must be at least 25 and single.
Recommended if you like: scouring the crowd to find “The One’, making that heart-shaped gesture with your fingers, evenings involving red roses, wine and underwear flung where you can’t find it, reading, beautiful bookshops
