The English pastime of the pub quiz is a great reason to head out on a weeknight, and Vienna has a raft of places where thousands of Euros can be won. Here’s a list of Vienna’s best pub quizzes.

Four Bells – Pub Quizzes

What to expect? Plenty of general knowledge, music-themed questions. Lots of free shots. The lack of big money prizes takes the ruthless competition factor out and replaces it with a good atmosphere, with more of a focus on fun.

Johnny’s Pub – Pub Quizzes

What to expect? This is one of the most well-known pub quizzes in Vienna and according to the bar staff: “It’s always a good Craic.” The quiz is followed by a happy hour at 10pm, which is useful to either celebrate your win, or drown your sorrows after losing to a team called “Quiz in my pants.”
