Hit up one of these open air parties!

Hit up an open air party

Seems like cool kids these days party while it’s still light out. So why not get some fun on under the sun this month with one of these open air parties:

Horst & Hannelore – Das Open Air am Schloss w. Dirty Doering

When: SAT, August 3, 4pm
Where: Am Cobenzl

The club/collective that had people dancing like mad in the deep depths of a basement in Vienna’s city center will now draw them up to the hills around the city where they’ll be throwing one hell of an open air rave for all those who can’t resist a down and dirty party. The DJ list is long, and so will your night be.

Reggae inna Arena – open air party

When: SAT, August 11, 3pm
Where: Arena

Expect a whole bunch of Pogo dancing, rastas and the distinct and funky smell of the wacky tabacky at this one – a whole bunch of reggae, ska and dub fans will be hitting up the Arena to feast their ears on the sounds they love. DJs will be providing the beats while the entry is free, and there will also be Jamaican jerk and vegan food.

Merkwürdig / Open Air / Rave

When: SAT, August 14, 2pm
Where: Am Cobenzl

Dance through the day and then dance some more through the night! The crew at the DJ collective, Merkwürdig, have put together quite a line up for this rave party, that should keep your eardrums and feet busy from dusk till dawn. The special location at the Cobenzl castle and cafe makes every party feel a bit out of place, which is exactly what you should be looking for to escape weekday routine.

Swell Time Sommerfrische I at Volksgarten Pavillon

When: SAT, August 11, 10pm
Where: Volksgarten Pavilion

Them folks from Swell Time are at it again, with their usual 50/60s flair. They are inviting all those like the sounds of Swing, Electroswing, Rock’n’Roll, R’n’B and Soul to their first summer bash that will be happening it the Volksgarten Pavilion’s garden. As always, the dress code is 1950s/early 60s and don’t think they’re kidding about that – it adds to the charm of the event!

Recommended if you like: the feeling of freedom at an open air party, working on your tan with a drink in hand, wearing a bikini or board shorts to a party, spending most of your weekend dancing
