A festival that honors bread

The one and only Viennese festival dedicated to the humble bread is back at Marx Halle in March for the fourth time, and will be showing off the skills of many bakers (and maybe some handsome buns!), including some coming all the way from Italy and Slovakia for the festival. A small market will offer up all kinds of bread, while a stage show will tell you everything there is to know about baked stuff. Also, there will be a temporary bakehouse showing the bakers at their craft. Upstairs, you’ll be able to buy all the ingredients and tools you need to bake your own bread at home so you become a famous baker and are the invited special guest at next year’s bread festival.
