How would I dance to this music?
In a sweaty, messy hurricane of jumping, kicking and throwing your body about in a moshpit while slowing down on occasion to take a drag on your cigarette.

 

Postman

Music that takes you from dream to nightmare and back, dark, raw, tripping guitar strings, a different kind of electro-pop breed, moody blues.

How would I dance to this music?
You have to listen actively so people should sit down and do nothing while they’re listening to it. That’s right, sit down on the God damn dancefloor and listen with a beer in hand.

Boat floating on a lake, talented vocals, singer/songwriter, acoustic guitar, escapism

Sway like the wind, tiny dancer

 

La Sabotage

They have a song named, ‘camel toe’ – need we say more? Ok, we will – Electronic, Pop, Punk, Indie, Noise and Experimental, heavy bass.

How would I dance to this music?
A lot of foot stomping, nodding of the head, as if you’re occasionally being stung by jellyfish.

 

Tav Falco’s Panther Burns
When:
2am Friday morning
Where: TU Wien

Psychedelic rock, best enjoyed with recreational drugs, muddy electric guitar riffs, big hair and fancy shoes

How would I dance to this music?
Jerking the top half of your body around like you’re a robot picking flowers, falling asleep and than jerking back into life again.

 

Salute feat. Liv Dawson

THU, 10pm
Where: TU Wien

This band described in a few words
Makes us think of Beyonce and video games. The song ‘Light up’ fills us with joy and makes us want to move our hips back like when RnB was in. One of the few international acts at the festival, hailing from the UK. Euphoric synth music.

How would I dance to this music?
Let go  of reality with this music people, get those hands up in the air, and just move with it. Express yo’ self!

 

Bruch

Vocals that will make you want to quit it all, jump back in time and do it all again, guitar and a hint of Johnny Cash. Music that will make you nostalgic for a time you never lived, while being very content you’re living in the age in which minimalist post-punk exists.

How would I dance to this music?
Let’s just say, it’s going to be emotional… and strangely sensual. Licking somebody’s earlobe real slow kinda’ sensual.

Mile me Deaf

A boy band with poppy electro’ beats. They’ve got vocals down pact and they like to cram a old school sound into their tunes.

How would I dance to this music?
Pursed lips, peeling back the label of your beer, nodding your head slightly, but like ya’ mean it, whiskey chased by shots of more whiskey

 

Soia
When: FRI, 12am

Electronic pop beats, smeared make-up, poppy, bassy, that kooky girl everybody wants to date, dance-worthy, long flowing black hair

How would I dance to this music?
Head down, butt out, with sweat running down your spine, in a dark club.

Weird and wonderful poppy stuff straight out of the 80ies… but not. Dark red lipstick.

How would I dance to this music?
Bouncing around with a creepily huge smile on your face in a pair of vintage Nike sneakers.

 

Buenoventura

Electro beats that will have you feeling like you’re driving a really fast and sexy car up an empty highway.

How would I dance to this music?
Eyes closed and dance like you do to any banging dance track.

A community of women rapping and hip hopping some badass beats. Always unpredictable.
